Shipping & Returns


Domestic Orders will be shipped the fastest and most economical way with freight charges added to order. Orders may be shipped via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, or USPS. Requests for other shipping methods or expedited shipping (e.g. 2nd Day, Next Day Air, 3rd Party or Account Billing) will incur extra charges.
C.O.D. and Shipper Pickups are not available.

International shipping is not available at this time. For International orders, please contact Corvette Central or Zip Products.

All orders ship F.O.B. SpeedDirect's Warehouse.

Damaged Shipments, Shortages

If damage or a shortage is found within the shipment it must be reported in writing to SpeedDirect via mail, fax, or email within ten (10) working days of receipt of shipment. Claims not received within this time frame will not be honored. Claims should refer to the invoice number, date of invoice, date of shipment, part number, description, and carton count. In the case of damage, photos of the damage should accompany the claim.

Receiver is advised to keep all damaged packages, awaiting further instructions from SpeedDirect. Failure to do so may result in the claim being denied.

Replacement orders for shipping damages will be shipped after the claim is approved.

Refused Shipments

Any expense due to or resulting from a refused shipment must be borne by the purchaser. Future shipments will not be made until SpeedDirect is reimbursed for any expenses incurred for refused shipments.


The following information applies to all returns, regardless of reason.
Please also see the section pertaining to the applicable Return Type below for additional Terms. 

Prior to returning any product the original purchaser must request and receive a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) from SpeedDirect. The product must be shipped freight prepaid and with the RMA clearly marked on all shipping cartons. All returns without an RMA will be refused.

Upon receipt of the return by SpeedDirect, the product received will be analyzed and a final disposition will be made by SpeedDirect.

Products that are missing parts are not eligible for return and no credit will be allowed; partial credits will not be issued.

All items returned must be in new condition. No credit will be issued for any parts that have been installed, used, or damaged in any way. All products returned must be in salable condition and in their original carton package and are subject to factory inspection. It is the customer's responsibility to verify satisfaction with fit and/or application before installing product.

Discontinued, obsolete, or custom made products are not eligible for return.

Credit issued for any return will be credited to the original purchaser at the original purchased price.

No credit will be issued beyond original purchase price. Labor, freight, and any other expenses will not be credited.

If repackaging is required, an additional Refurbishing Charge may be levied.

Unauthorized returns will be returned at the customer’s expense.

The customer is responsible for paying return shipping. Call Tags are not available. There will be a 20% restocking charge on all returned items, except items deemed Warranty by SpeedDirect, see Warranty section below. Items damaged due to poor re-packaging for shipment will have refurbishing and/or replacement charges applied as necessary.

Return Types:

Warranty Returns

Steeroids branded products are subject to a five (5) year warranty, all other SpeedDirect products are subject to a three (3) year warranty. Please see individual 3 year and 5 year warranty documents for complete details.

Products that are deemed to be defective by SpeedDirect and are within the warranty time period will receive a full or partial credit for the value of the part depending on completeness, usage or other factors.

If it is determined that the cause of the failure was not due to a defect in material or workmanship, SpeedDirect will contact original purchaser for disposition.

Returns for Reasons Other Than Warranty

Eligibility for credit will be decided by SpeedDirect upon receipt and inspection.

Items returned for reason of Customer Error (e.g. ordered incorrect product, changed mind) will be assessed a minimum 20% Restocking Fee, plus any additional repackaging costs.

Items deemed to be SpeedDirect Sales Error (e.g. provided incorrect product for application) will be issued full credit.

Returns must be processed within 30 days of original shipment by SpeedDirect to be eligible for return.
